With the Miami Dolphins officially exploring trade options for the former All-Pro, Tyler Sullivan named the Lions as a top landing spot. And it makes sense: Detroit’s defense gave up the third-most passing yards per game last season, and Ramsey brings the kind of experience that fits perfectly with the Lions’ Super Bowl aspirations.
Even after adding D.J. Reed and using a first-rounder on Terrion Arnold, the Lions have the cap space—and the motivation—to consider making this move. Ramsey might be 31, but if the price is right and the fit is there, don’t be surprised if Brad Holmes picks up the phone.
