The Detroit Lions dropped their final injury report before their Monday Night Football clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it’s a tough pill for fans to swallow.

Four defensive players are officially sidelined, leaving the Lions’ secondary in a rough spot:
CB Terrion Arnold (shoulder)
S Kerby Joseph (knee)
DB Avonte Maddox (hamstring)
RB Sione Vaki (groin)

With Brian Branch already out due to a suspension, Detroit’s backfield is stretched thin facing Baker Mayfield’s passing attack.

There’s a sliver of hope, though. Three key starters are listed as questionable:
LT Taylor Decker (shoulder)
DT DJ Reader (back)
DT Alim McNeill (knee)
If Reader and McNeill can suit up, it’d be a huge lift for a defensive line tasked with pressuring Mayfield to compensate for the depleted secondary.

The Lions are battered but not broken. Dan Campbell’s crew thrives on resilience, and they’ll need every ounce of it to tame a Buccaneers squad hungry for a rebound. Expect Kelvin Sheppard’s defense to lean on its front seven to rattle Tampa Bay’s offense.
