Lions Fans, It’s Time to Choose 2024’s Breakout Star!

The 2024 Detroit Lions season saw some amazing individual performances, and now it’s time to celebrate those who made the biggest strides with the Pride of Detroit Awards. First up: Breakout Player of the Year. Fans are being asked to vote on the player who took their game to new heights this season, and there’s no shortage of worthy candidates.

Jahmyr Gibbs, who had a breakout rookie season, took things to another level this year, establishing himself as the Lions’ true RB1. After David Montgomery’s injury, Gibbs carried the offense with four consecutive 100-yard games, and he finished the season among the NFL’s elite running backs.

Jameson Williams, meanwhile, overcame off-field distractions and injury setbacks to prove why the Lions believed in his potential. Williams reached 1,000 yards and became an explosive weapon for the offense. His ability to stretch the field added a new dimension to the Lions’ attack.

Other nominees include Jack Campbell, who became a cornerstone of the defense in his second season, stepping up in a decimated linebacker group. Al-Quadin Muhammad made his impact after being elevated from the practice squad, while Amik Robertson seized a starting role and made key plays in big games, like shutting down Justin Jefferson in the season finale.

The Lions have seen multiple players rise to the occasion in 2024, and now it’s up to the fans to decide who deserves the honor of Breakout Player of the Year. Don’t forget to cast your vote and help determine who stood out the most!
