Derrick Barnes Lands Three-Year, $25.5M Deal to Stay in Detroit
The Detroit Lions have locked in Derrick Barnes with a three-year, $25.5 million extension, including $16 million in guaranteed money. Despite a knee injury limiting him to three games in 2024, Barnes has been a key defensive asset, racking up 205 career tackles, 26 stuffs, and four sacks since being drafted in 2021.
With Alex Anzalone and Jack Campbell also returning, the Lions have secured their linebacker corps heading into 2025.
