Lions Lock In Veteran OL Dan Skipper for Another Run

Fan Favorite Dan Skipper Returning to Lions on One-Year Deal

The Detroit Lions are bringing back offensive lineman Dan Skipper on a one-year deal, per ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler. Skipper, a 6-foot-9, 330-pound veteran, has been a fan favorite in Detroit, embodying Dan Campbell’s grit-first mentality.

After bouncing around the league since entering the NFL in 2017, Skipper finally found a home with the Lions. He played in all 17 games last season, contributing to an offensive line that helped Detroit’s rushing attack rank third in the NFL. His return ensures continuity in a unit that was instrumental in the Lions’ 15-2 season and playoff success.
