The Detroit Lions have strengthened their tight end corps by signing free agent Kenny Yeboah from the New York Jets for the 2025 season. Yeboah, who has spent all four years of his professional career with the Jets, will likely compete for the No. 3 tight end spot behind Sam LaPorta and Brock Wright.
Experience and Physicality
Yeboah’s experience and physical presence will add depth to the Lions’ tight end position. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 250 pounds, he possesses the size and strength to make an impact in the NFL. Throughout his four-year tenure with the Jets, Yeboah has appeared in 33 games, accumulating nine catches for 111 yards and one touchdown.
