Lions Roar into Top Super Bowl Contender Rankings

Lions Rank Near the Top in NFL’s Super Bowl Window Rankings
The Detroit Lions aren’t just a playoff team—they’re built for long-term Super Bowl contention. NFL.com’s Bucky Brooks ranked teams with the widest championship windows, and Detroit landed at No. 2, trailing only the reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Brooks praised GM Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell for assembling a tough, talented roster. From Jared Goff and a loaded offense (featuring Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Sam LaPorta) to a dominant offensive line, the Lions can win with both power and finesse.

With Aidan Hutchinson and Alim McNeill set to return healthy in 2025, the defense could take a major leap. If new coordinator Kelvin Sheppard gets the unit firing on all cylinders, Detroit could be an even bigger force in the NFC.

The window is open—but can the Lions push through and make history?
