Lions Secure Familiar Faces: RB Reynolds, DL O’Connor Back in the Den

The Lions are keeping some familiar faces around, re-signing running back Craig Reynolds and defensive lineman Pat O’Connor on Tuesday.

Reynolds bounced around with Washington, Jacksonville, and Atlanta before finding a home in Detroit in 2021. While he played in 14 games over his first two seasons, he’s been a consistent presence on the field ever since. So far, he’s racked up 650 rushing yards, a touchdown, and 255 receiving yards, while also being a key contributor on special teams.

O’Connor, who joined the Lions last season after six years in Tampa Bay, had 18 tackles and a sack in 12 games. Now, both players are set to run it back with Detroit for another year.
