The most notable update from Lions head coach Dan Campbell on Sunday was the unfortunate news that defensive lineman Levi Onwuzurike will miss the entire season after tearing his ACL. But that wasn’t the only injury development he shared.

Left tackle Taylor Decker has been placed on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list as training camp begins. According to Campbell, Decker recently underwent shoulder surgery. The team is hopeful he’ll return to practice following the Hall of Fame Game against the Chargers on July 31 in Canton, Ohio.

“We feel like there’s a good chance we can get [Decker] back after the Hall of Fame Game,” Campbell said via the team’s website. “He’s good. Just cleaned up his shoulder a little bit and we’re going to work him back in when he’s ready to go. He’s in a good place.”

Meanwhile, defensive end Josh Paschal remains on the non-football injury list. Campbell didn’t disclose details but said Paschal isn’t expected to be back on the field until sometime in September.
