In a recent interview, he made it clear why he joined San Francisco: “I feel like there’s a lot of good people here, a lot of winners here. So really just wanted to surround myself with winners.”

“I know Brock personally, and he’s done a great job. I’ve been watching him from afar and just want to learn from him and be a sponge,” Jones said. “Kyle’s résumé speaks for itself. He always produces each year, and that’s something I want to be around.”
After a strong rookie season, Jones’ career has taken a downward spiral, with a 10-22 record as a starter since 2021. This move to the 49ers might be his last real shot at proving he belongs in the league. If he can’t make it work in San Francisco, his NFL future could be in serious doubt.
