MAC Tackle Machine on Lions’ Radar for Draft

The Detroit Lions are keeping a close eye on University of Buffalo linebacker Shaun Dolac after his standout Pro Day, according to a report from Colton Edwards.

Dolac, a tackling machine in the MAC, turned heads with his athletic testing:

40-yard dash: 4.55 seconds

Bench press: 25 reps

Vertical jump: 35.5 inches

Shuttle: 4.21 seconds

Three-cone drill: 6.94 seconds

His ability to cover ground from sideline to sideline and his high football IQ have made him an intriguing prospect. Along with the Lions, the Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Raiders are also showing strong interest in Dolac.

Could Dolac Land in Detroit?

The Lions already have a solid linebacker group, but GM Brad Holmes has consistently prioritized talent over positional needs in the draft. If Dolac is still available when Detroit is on the clock in the third round, don’t be shocked if they take a shot on this under-the-radar playmaker.
