The hype for Madden NFL 26 just kicked up a notch, and Detroit Lions fans have a big reason to celebrate. The official game trailer just dropped—and it includes one of the most unforgettable moments from the Lions’ 2024 season.
About 37 seconds into the trailer, fans are treated to a sideline shot of Dan Campbell chatting with Jared Goff. Then comes the big play—Goff tosses a short touchdown pass to Amon-Ra St. Brown at Lambeau Field, and St. Brown follows it up with his now-famous upside-down headstand celebration. Yes, the same celebration he pulled off in the November 3 win over the Packers.
That game, played in soggy conditions, ended in a 24-14 Lions victory. St. Brown led the team with 7 receptions for 56 yards and a touchdown, while Goff was nearly flawless, completing 18 of 22 passes for 145 yards and a score.
EA Sports says Madden 26 will leverage a new AI-powered system trained on years of NFL data—so maybe we’ll see more real-life moments brought to life in-game. But for Lions fans, seeing St. Brown’s celebration included is already a major win.
Madden NFL 26 is set to release on August 14.
