“Make It Make Sense!” Nick Wright Blasts ESPN for Disrespecting Chiefs

Nick Wright isn’t holding back — and this time, ESPN’s taking the hit.

After the Kansas City Chiefs handled business against the Detroit Lions, ESPN’s latest power rankings somehow dropped the defending champs a few spots. And let’s just say, that didn’t sit well with Wright.

The outspoken FS1 analyst — and proud Chiefs diehard — called the move “embarrassing,” blasting ESPN for what he called lazy bias against Patrick Mahomes and company. “They beat a top NFC team on national TV, and somehow that counts against them?” Wright ranted on his show. “Make it make sense!”

Fans quickly rallied behind him online, agreeing that the Chiefs are once again getting the short end of the national media stick. After all, Kansas City didn’t just win — they dominated on both sides of the ball. Mahomes looked sharp, the defense brought the heat, and yet… ESPN thought they deserved a demotion?

Wright didn’t stop there either. He accused the network of trying to hype up new storylines instead of giving the champs their flowers. “If this was the Cowboys or the Eagles, we’d be talking dynasty again,” he added, firing one last shot before signing off.

At this point, it’s safe to say Wright’s message was heard loud and clear — don’t poke the Chiefs Kingdom.
