Head coach Nate Oats and his players spoke on Thursday about their mindset heading into the big game. After making their first-ever Final Four appearance last season, Alabama is determined to do it again.
The team enters the tournament with a 25-8 record, coming off a loss to Florida in the SEC Tournament semifinals. Despite that setback, the Tide still secured a No. 2 seed. Meanwhile, Robert Morris (26-8) is on a hot streak, winning 10 straight and taking home the Horizon League title. Guard Amarion Dickerson expects a high-energy game, especially with RMU playing relatively close to home in Pennsylvania.
The winner of Alabama vs. Robert Morris will face either No. 7 seed St. Mary’s or No. 10 seed Vanderbilt on Sunday.
