NBA Power Rankings: Where Do the Bulls Stand with Playoffs Around the Corner?

### Where Do the Bulls Stand in the Latest NBA Power Rankings?

How much can a four-game winning streak boost your ranking? Well, for the Bulls, it helped—just not as much as fans might hope.

Before losing a winnable game against the Rockets, Chicago had won four straight, including key victories over potential Play-In rivals Miami and Orlando. That streak was the longest of the season for Billy Donovan’s squad. Heading into March 17, the Bulls sit 10th in the East, 4.5 games ahead of Toronto and just one behind Miami for ninth. Finishing ninth would be huge, as it means hosting their first Play-In game, likely against the Heat.

Over the last 10 games, only Cleveland and Boston have been better in the conference. The Bulls are 6-4, including 4-1 in their last five, playing some of their best basketball this season.

So, where do the so-called experts rank them?

### Week 22 Power Rankings Roundup

**The Athletic: No. 18**
Law Murray put the Bulls at No. 18 before their win over Brooklyn. That’s ahead of the struggling Suns (yikes) and both Miami and Orlando. His take? “The commitment to the 10th seed remains strong in Illinois. … But they’re still here, I guess.”

**Yahoo! Sports: No. 20**
Clemente Almanza bumped the Bulls up just one spot, from 21st to 20th, even after their full four-game streak. He highlights Josh Giddey as the team’s best player, though Coby White has been making a case lately. Giddey’s rise could also put him in the sights of teams looking to offer him a big contract this offseason—forcing the Bulls into a big decision.

**NBA.com: No. 20**
John Schumann gave Chicago the biggest boost, moving them up three spots from 23rd to 20th. He notes the Bulls lead the league in fourth-quarter comebacks after their rally against the Nets. But he also warns that things could get rough—their six-game West Coast road trip is about to test just how real this momentum is.

The Bulls are making moves, but the real challenge starts now. Let’s see if they can keep the momentum rolling.
