New developments have surfaced in the legal situation involving Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold.
A report from The Detroit News revealed text messages tied to individuals accused in a February 4 armed robbery and kidnapping in Florida. Arnold was previously referenced in a court order issued by J. Logan Murphy.
Arnold has not been charged with any crime. His attorney, Tim Jansen, reiterated that position, stating there is no indication charges will be filed and emphasizing that knowing individuals involved does not imply wrongdoing.
The messages, reportedly exchanged between co-defendants Arianna Del Valle and Jasmine Randazzo, mention Arnold multiple times. In the conversation, Del Valle references Arnold while discussing plans to bring victims to a location. Some texts suggest coordination around the incident, including concerns about potential violence and attempts to delete messages afterward.
According to the court filing, two other defendants allegedly ambushed the victims, holding them hostage and assaulting them for an extended period.
Additional messages indicate references to Arnold’s arrival, though one account noted he had already left the area by flight on the morning of the incident.
The situation reportedly began after Arnold claimed items—including cash, jewelry, and other valuables—were stolen from his Florida rental property, leading to actions described in the court order as taking matters into their own hands.
Lions general manager Brad Holmes acknowledged the situation publicly, stating the organization is aware but offering no further details.
Arnold, a 2024 first-round pick, has played 24 career games and was limited to eight appearances in 2025 due to injuries.
