New York Giants Stir the Pot with Wild QB Forecast

The New York Giants have already made some big moves at quarterback, signing both Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson for the 2025 season. But let’s be real—neither of them is likely to be the team’s long-term answer. That’s why the Giants are still being tied to other QB options, including Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders.

While fans are buzzing about Sanders, there’s a new twist. A recent mock draft from Reese Decker at Pro Football Network doesn’t have the Giants grabbing Sanders—or any quarterback—with their No. 3 overall pick. Instead, they’re predicted to snag Travis Hunter.

But don’t worry, the Giants still go QB—just in the second round. With pick No. 34, they’re projected to take Ole Miss star Jaxson Dart. He’s been all over mock drafts, showing up anywhere from top-10 to early second round.

Dart put up some serious numbers in 2024—over 4,200 passing yards, 29 touchdowns, just six picks, and a completion rate of nearly 70%. Plus, he added almost 500 yards and three TDs on the ground.

The real story will unfold when the draft kicks off April 24–26. For now, Giants fans can dream about what a guy like Dart could bring to the table.
