While those numbers weren’t flashy, he fit Detroit’s offensive system well and could provide reliable depth behind stars like Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams.
General manager Brad Holmes has made it clear that adding explosive playmakers remains a priority, whether through free agency or the draft. While Patrick isn’t a game-changer like Jahmyr Gibbs, bringing back a veteran who already knows the system could be an easy way to maintain continuity and keep the offense rolling in 2025.
