NFL Insider Pours Cold Water on Lions’ Chances of Landing Myles Garrett

NFL Insider Pours Cold Water on Myles Garrett-to-Detroit Rumors
The idea of Myles Garrett suiting up for the Detroit Lions sounds like a dream scenario. The star edge rusher has reportedly expressed his desire to leave Cleveland in pursuit of a Super Bowl, and Detroit, fresh off a 15-2 season, seems like an ideal landing spot. But according to multiple NFL insiders, the Browns aren’t budging.

NFL insider Daniel Jeremiah reported that teams around the league fully expect Cleveland to hold onto Garrett, with no indication that the team is willing to entertain offers. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler echoed this, saying the Browns’ stance remains a “hard no,” despite Garrett’s trade request.

That said, Jeremiah believes Detroit should push hard for a deal, calling Garrett the “finishing piece” that could bring a championship parade to the Motor City. But for now, barring a major shift, it looks like Garrett is staying put.
