NFL Legend Calls Out Rodgers: ‘Steelers Waiting on You… Again’

Aaron Rodgers is no stranger to taking his time when deciding on his next move. He did it when leaving Green Bay for the Jets, and now he’s doing it again while weighing offers from the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants. But not everyone is happy about it.

NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin isn’t thrilled with how Rodgers is handling things, saying the QB is once again making it all about himself.

“I wanted to see him in Pittsburgh. I thought it would be a great fit,” Irvin said on Up & Adams. “But now that this is dragging out, it’s all about him again. And I don’t know if that works in Pittsburgh. Cam Heyward even said, ‘Come on, man. If you don’t wanna play for us, let us know.’”

According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Steelers have already made their offer, and it hasn’t changed in weeks. The ball is in Rodgers’ court—either he signs, heads to the Giants, or retires.

Rodgers recently met with Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin, GM Omar Khan, and offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, but he left without making a deal. Money wasn’t even discussed. Now, all Pittsburgh can do is wait for Rodgers to make up his mind.
