Herbie Farnworth Seeks Massive Improvement as Dolphins Prepare for Broncos Clash
Herbie Farnworth, the star centre for the Dolphins, is looking forward to the upcoming “Battle of Brisbane” against his former team, the Broncos, on Friday night at Suncorp Stadium. While the Dolphins are still seeking their first win of the season, Farnworth, who was named Man of the Match in their last loss to the Wests Tigers, remains focused on improving his team’s performance.
Having made the move from Brisbane to the Dolphins at the end of 2023, Farnworth has grown into a key figure for his new side, earning recognition as a Dally M Team of the Year centre in 2024. Despite the challenges the Dolphins have faced this season, he has no regrets about leaving his old club. “No regrets. I love this club. They showed a lot of faith in me, and I want to pay them back,” Farnworth stated.
Looking ahead to the clash with the Broncos, Farnworth knows his side needs to improve, especially after losing leads in previous matches. “We have to be stronger in defence and more clinical in attack,” he acknowledged, emphasizing the need to turn their season around. Despite the early-season struggles, Farnworth remains confident in the Dolphins’ potential. “We are slightly off, but we have a lot of young lads with talent who are willing to work hard and have a big future in the game.”
With the Dolphins facing a tough test against the high-flying Broncos, Farnworth is determined to help his side come out firing and earn their first victory of the season.
