Notre Dame CB Benjamin Morrison Projected to Lions in Latest Mock Draft
Notre Dame star Benjamin Morrison is shaping up to be a first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and a new Pro Football Focus (PFF) mock draft has him landing in Detroit. Despite dealing with injuries over the past two seasons, Morrison is considered one of the best cornerbacks in college football when healthy.

PFF notes that Morrison’s hip injury could cause him to slide a bit on draft day, but his skill set makes him a perfect fit for the Detroit Lions’ aggressive man-coverage scheme. With Carlton Davis III potentially departing, Morrison could step in as a long-term solution in Detroit’s secondary.

Earlier projections had Morrison going to the Cincinnati Bengals, reuniting him with former Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden, but the latest predictions suggest the Lions could be his new home.
