Oasis Feud Gets a Comedy Twist With James Buckley & Joe Thomas on Red Nose Day

Inbetweeners’ Stars Reunite for Oasis Spoof on Red Nose Day 2025

James Buckley and Joe Thomas, best known for their roles in The Inbetweeners, are teaming up once again—this time to spoof legendary Britpop band Oasis for Red Nose Day 2025. The comedy duo will step into the shoes of the famously feuding Gallagher brothers, with Buckley playing Liam and Thomas taking on Noel in a sketch celebrating Comic Relief’s 40th anniversary.

For Buckley, a lifelong Oasis fan, the opportunity was a dream come true. “I had such a fun time with Joe making this sketch for Comic Relief and was honored to be a part of it,” he said in a statement. Thomas, meanwhile, expressed his excitement and nerves about participating in the long-running charity event. “I grew up watching Comic Relief, and the big sketch was always a highlight of the night. So it’s both thrilling and nerve-wracking to be a part of it,” he shared.

Red Nose Day, an annual fundraiser organized by Comic Relief, uses entertainment to help fight poverty and create positive change. This year’s event will feature a range of comedy specials, celebrity appearances, and fundraising initiatives, with Joanna Lumley starring in a previously released promotional video.

Fans can tune in to Red Nose Day 2025 this Friday on BBC One and BBC iPlayer to catch Buckley and Thomas’s take on the Gallagher brothers, along with plenty of other comedy gold for a good cause.
