Odds for Detroit Lions to Pull Off Myles Garrett Trade: What’s the Likelihood?

The NFL offseason is really picking up, and one of the biggest rumors right now is Myles Garrett possibly getting traded. A bunch of teams are in the mix, but the Detroit Lions are still in the conversation, and the latest odds show they’ve got a shot.

FanDuel has Detroit at +1000 odds to land Garrett, making them one of the teams to watch. Garrett is one of the best defensive players in the league, and the idea of him teaming up with Aidan Hutchinson on the Lions’ D has a lot of fans excited.

While the Lions’ odds aren’t as strong as other teams like the Raiders (+280) or the Chargers (+750), they’re still a realistic option. Detroit needs more pass-rush help to pair with Hutchinson, especially since he’s expected to be fully healthy in 2025.

Getting Garrett wouldn’t be cheap, though. The Lions would likely have to trade a lot of draft picks, which goes against their usual strategy of building through the draft. But if they want to keep pushing toward Super Bowl contention, adding a game-changer like Garrett might be the perfect move.

Other teams in the running include the Bills (+850), Eagles (+850), and 49ers (+900), with the Cowboys (+900) and Chiefs (+1100) also in the mix. The competition is fierce, and a lot of teams are eyeing Garrett.

The Lions are definitely becoming a team to watch in the trade market. If they really want to take their defense to the next level and push for the Super Bowl in 2025, landing Garrett could be the key move. But it’ll be a tough road to make it happen. The ball’s in GM Brad Holmes’ court now.
