Darius Slay wants to play one more season, and his preference is to stay with the Philadelphia Eagles. However, he acknowledged that the team might release him to create cap space.
The Eagles have several high-profile free agents, including Milton Williams, Josh Sweat, and Zack Baun. Slay, who has one year left on his contract, expressed his desire to finish his deal in Philadelphia.
“I’ve got one more left on my contract, but you know how that works,” Slay said. “Whatever they want to do, I might re-sign back, hopefully. If I ain’t, we’ll see what I’m doing because I do want to play one more year, for sure.”
