One Touchdown. One Headstand. And Now… Amon-Ra’s Face Is on Millions of Cereal Boxes — What No One Told You

In a memorable moment last November, Amon-Ra St. Brown scored Detroit’s first points against the Packers by catching a short pass from Jared Goff early in the second quarter. But it wasn’t just the touchdown that grabbed everyone’s attention — it was what came after.

St. Brown’s headstand celebration, which lasted just a second, has now earned a permanent place in football pop culture. And now, it’s making its way into your breakfast routine.

St. Brown is one of three NFL stars featured on limited-edition Cheerios cereal boxes, joining rivals Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase in General Mills’ “Cereal Training Camp” campaign. The initiative, now in its second year, pays tribute to the trio’s signature touchdown celebrations.

“They’re bringing that same flair to the breakfast aisle with ‘tastes like a touchdown’ flavors,” General Mills shared in a recent press release.

St. Brown’s box is named “Honey Handstand” and features the Lions receiver in bold orange and brown colors on Honey Nut Cheerios. Jefferson stars on a Cinnamon Toast Crunch box called “Jetta Mix,” which includes frosted lemon Cheerios blended with strawberry-flavored CTC. Chase appears on “Lucky Strut,” a reimagined Lucky Charms flavor.

There’s even a special Reese’s Puffs edition that features all three athletes together.

Reflecting on the moment, St. Brown shared, “Growing up, I never would have thought I’d be on a cereal box, and I had a blast recreating my headstand for Honey Nut Cheerios — the OG cereal for me.”
