The Detroit Lions have re-signed wide receiver Tim Patrick to a one-year contract extension worth up to $4 million. This move comes after Patrick’s successful 2024 season with the Lions, where he appeared in 16 games, recording 33 receptions for 394 yards and three touchdowns.
Patrick’s journey to the Lions was marked by setbacks, including a torn ACL in 2022 and a torn Achilles tendon in 2023, which led to his release from the Denver Broncos. However, he found a new opportunity with the Lions, initially joining their practice squad before becoming a regular presence in the lineup.
The re-signing of Patrick provides continuity for the Lions’ offense, particularly with fellow receiver Allen Robinson considering retirement. Patrick is expected to play a complementary role alongside Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, the team’s top receivers.
