Peter Schrager Tells the Browns Exactly What They Need to Hear About Their QB

It looks like the Browns are still figuring out their quarterback situation, and with the NFL Draft coming up, the debate is heating up. Analyst Peter Schrager weighed in, telling Cleveland they don’t have to take Shedeur Sanders at No. 2 unless they truly believe he’s their guy.

Schrager pointed out that the Browns have passed on good QBs before, but this draft isn’t necessarily loaded at the position. If they prefer other prospects, like defensive standouts Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter, they have options. Plus, there’s depth at quarterback later in the draft, with names like Tyler Shough and Jalen Milroe still on the board.

Cleveland seems to be leaning toward Carter, sending their top brass to meet with him. Meanwhile, trade rumors around Kirk Cousins persist, but for now, it looks like the Browns are banking on the draft to find their next quarterback. With ten picks to work with, they’re in no rush to force a QB selection at No. 2.
