Ravens’ Injury List Grows Ahead of Lions Showdown, Lamar Jackson Left Without Key Playmaker

Likely’s Return Put on Hold

Baltimore tight end Isaiah Likely had been working his way back from a broken foot and even logged limited practices last week. Hopes were high he’d return for the Monday Night Football matchup in Detroit, but the team officially ruled him out.

Lamar’s Reliable Weapon Missing

Likely emerged as one of Lamar Jackson’s go-to targets in recent seasons, especially during 2024 when he recorded 42 catches, 477 yards, and six touchdowns. Without him, and with Mark Andrews struggling to find rhythm, Baltimore’s passing attack could look thinner against a hungry Lions defense.

More Injuries Pile Up

It isn’t just Likely. The Ravens also ruled out defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike (neck), fullback Patrick Ricard (calf), and linebacker Kyle Van Noy (hamstring). That’s a tough blow on both sides of the ball for a team looking to build momentum.

Monday Night Spotlight

Baltimore comes into Week 3 at 1-1 after a dominant win over Cleveland. But now, all eyes are on Lamar Jackson and whether he can keep the offense clicking in prime time despite missing some key support.
