Reggie Bush Predicts the Next Super Bowl Champion

The NFL playoffs have reached the Divisional Round, with eight teams vying for a spot in Super Bowl LIX. Among the contenders are the Kansas City Chiefs, Detroit Lions, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, and Buffalo Bills.

Former Super Bowl champion Reggie Bush recently shared his pick for this year’s title, backing the Detroit Lions. Speaking to Forbes, Bush highlighted Detroit’s defensive style under Aaron Glenn as a key factor for playoff success, saying, “I like what Detroit’s doing right now.” Bush, who played for the Lions during the 2013-2014 seasons, has been impressed with their resurgence.

The Lions, who finished the regular season with a 15-2 record, secured the NFC’s top seed and a first-round bye. Entering the Divisional Round with momentum from a three-game win streak, they are set to play on Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. ET. ESPN BET lists Detroit as a 9.5-point favorite, and the team boasts the best odds to win Super Bowl LIX according to ESPN’s Football Power Index, which gives them a 26.6% chance of capturing the Lombardi Trophy.

With strong performances on both sides of the ball, the Lions have emerged as legitimate Super Bowl contenders and are looking to validate the confidence of analysts and fans alike.
