Alabama’s NFL Draft Stars Are Going Back-to-Back
Alabama has been a powerhouse when it comes to churning out NFL talent, and that trend continues. With Nick Saban now retired, all eyes are on new head coach Kalen DeBoer to keep the Tide rolling. As we approach the 2025 NFL Draft, a couple of big-name Alabama players are looking to hear their names called early.
In the latest CBS Sports mock draft, Alabama’s Tyler Booker and Jihaad Campbell land back-to-back picks, with Booker going to the Seattle Seahawks at No. 18 and Campbell heading to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at No. 19. These picks make perfect sense for both teams.
Booker would instantly step into a role where his offensive line skills would be crucial in protecting Seattle’s new quarterback, Sam Darnold. On the other hand, Campbell would fit right into Tampa’s defense under Todd Bowles, a coach known for getting creative with his linebackers. Campbell’s talents would add a new dimension to one of the league’s top defenses.
As the draft gets closer, it’s possible these won’t be the only Alabama players picked in the first round. Quarterback Jalen Milroe has recently made a surge into some first-round mock drafts too.
Looks like Alabama’s talent pool is deep as ever!
