EA Sports has dropped the first look at College Football 26, starring Alabama’s dynamic freshman wide receiver Ryan Williams.
Williams, 18, is coming off a promising debut season for the Crimson Tide, posting 48 catches for 865 yards and eight touchdowns as Alabama finished 9-4 and fell to Michigan in the ReliaQuest Bowl.
Despite the tough end to his freshman year, Williams was selected as one of the cover athletes for College Football 26, joining Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith. The two sophomore stars are featured on the game’s cover backed by a collage of the nation’s top programs. They also appear on the deluxe edition cover alongside other standout players and coaches.
EA Sports ramped up excitement with a promotional video showing Williams playing College Football 26 with popular YouTubers and streamers. In the clip, Williams is seen throwing touchdowns to his in-game self, pumping his fists and shouting “Let’s go!” after big plays.
Alabama fans are eager to see Williams take the next step this fall, with many predicting he could eclipse 1,000 yards and double-digit touchdowns to earn All-American honors.
College Football 26 is set for release on July 10, retailing at $69 for the standard edition, $99 for the deluxe edition, and $149 for the MVP Bundle, which includes deluxe versions of both Madden NFL 26 and College Football 26.
