Saban & DeBoer Team Up for a Feel-Good Mission

When Nick Saban stepped away from Alabama football, it officially closed the book on one of the greatest coaching runs the sport’s ever seen.

In 17 seasons with the Tide, Saban racked up six national titles, won nearly 88% of his games, and built a coaching legacy that’s second to none.

Now, Kalen DeBoer has taken the reins, and while his first season had its ups and downs, the future looks bright with one of the top recruiting classes in the country. Saban’s been vocal about backing his successor, and now, they’re teaming up in a pretty awesome way.

Fans can now connect with both legends through a special online auction benefiting the Nick’s Kids Foundation—Saban and his wife Terry’s long-time charity aimed at helping kids and families in need.

The Sabans’ daughter, Kristen, dropped the news on Instagram. What’s up for grabs? VIP seats in the Sabans’ private box at Bryant-Denny for Alabama’s games against LSU and Oklahoma, plus the chance to have lunch with either DeBoer or Saban in their campus offices (yep, Saban still keeps one), followed by a private stadium tour.

The auction kicks off at 5 p.m. CT Monday and runs through 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. It’s a rare chance to hang with two Bama coaching icons—and help a great cause while you’re at it.
