9 Pro Days You Won’t Want to Miss This Week

As NFL Draft season kicks into high gear, Pro Days give scouts and coaches a closer look at some of the most intriguing prospects in the country. With a handful of key workouts on the horizon, here’s a breakdown of nine Pro Days that could have a serious impact on draft boards.

9. Boston College – Monday, March 24
Keep your eyes on edge rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku, who’s firmly in the first-round conversation. After racking up 16.5 sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss this past season, he took home the Ted Hendricks Award, given to the nation’s top defensive end. At the Combine, Ezeiruaku turned heads with elite agility drills—he posted a 4.19-second short shuttle and a 6.94-second three-cone drill, topping all edge rushers. He skipped the 40-yard dash there, though—will he run it at Pro Day?

Also worth watching: T Ozzy Trapilo, DT Cam Horsley, and C Drew Kendall.

8. Boise State – Wednesday, March 26
All eyes in Boise will be on Ashton Jeanty, who’s had a stellar season and is one of the most exciting prospects in this year’s draft. The Doak Walker Award winner, Maxwell Award winner, and Heisman runner-up is expected to showcase his explosiveness and speed in front of scouts. If he delivers the kind of performance he’s capable of, don’t be surprised if his name ends up in the Top 10 come draft night.

Also watch for Edge Ahmed Hassanein, who’s quietly gaining interest from teams.

7. LSU – Wednesday, March 26
There’s been plenty of talk about tight ends leading up to the draft—names like Tyler Warren (Penn State) and Colston Loveland (Michigan) are at the forefront. But don’t sleep on Mason Taylor. The LSU standout is widely regarded as the third-best tight end in the class, and for good reason—he’s the only tight end in school history to notch 100+ catches and over 1,000 receiving yards. With strong testing numbers and solid field work, Taylor could lock in a Day 2 selection—or even climb higher.

Other notable prospects: T Will Campbell, Edge Bradyn Swinson, T Emery Jones Jr., Edge Sai’vion Jones, G Miles Frazier, CB Zy Alexander, and G Garrett Dellinger.

6. Miami – Monday, March 24
One of the biggest questions heading into the draft: What will the Tennessee Titans do with the No. 1 pick? The answer might come down to how they feel about Cam Ward, the talented quarterback out of Miami. Ward is expected to run drills and throw in front of teams for the first time at Miami’s Pro Day. If he shines, it could push him into the top of the draft conversation. As one scout said, “A great workout from Ward could reshape the first-round picture.”

Others to watch include TE Elijah Arroyo, RB Damien Martinez, T Jalen Rivers, Edge Tyler Baron, WR Xavier Restrepo, K Andres Borregales, WR Jacolby George, WR Sam Brown Jr., and LB Francisco Mauigoa.

5. Notre Dame – Thursday, March 27
Safety Xavier Watts is one of the most instinctive defenders in this year’s draft class. He tallied 13 interceptions and 14 pass breakups over the past two seasons—numbers that speak for themselves. Watts skipped Combine testing, choosing instead to put it all on display at Notre Dame’s Pro Day. A strong showing could thrust him into the conversation as the top safety on the board.

Keep an eye on: CB Benjamin Morrison, TE Mitchell Evans, DT Rylie Mills, LB Jack Kiser, QB Riley Leonard, DT Howard Cross III, and WR Beaux Collins.

4. Texas A&M – Thursday, March 27
Edge rusher Nic Scourton is gaining momentum as a potential late first-rounder, despite skipping the Combine testing. He’s got solid tape, but Pro Day will be a key chance for him to show teams just how athletic he really is. If he performs well, his draft stock could rise in a hurry.

Other prospects to watch include Edge Shemar Stewart and DT Shemar Turner.

3. Texas – Tuesday, March 25
Wide receiver Isaiah Bond isn’t satisfied with just being fast—he wants to be the fastest. He ran a 4.39 40-yard dash at the Combine, but told reporters he was aiming to beat the record of 4.21 seconds. He’s reportedly planning to run again at Texas’ Pro Day, hoping to crack the low 4.3s or even hit 4.2s. If he pulls that off, expect a surge in his draft buzz.

Others to watch: T Kelvin Banks Jr., WR Matthew Golden, CB Jahdae Barron, DT Alfred Collins, Edge Barryn Sorrell, S Andrew Mukuba, T Cameron Williams, QB Quinn Ewers, TE Gunnar Helm, C Jake Majors, RB Jaydon Blue, DT Vernon Broughton, and G Hayden Conner.

2. Ohio State – Wednesday, March 26
Emeka Egbuka is looking to complete the picture for scouts. The wide receiver led Ohio State with 81 catches for 1,011 yards and 10 touchdowns last season and holds the school record with 205 receptions. He skipped his 40-yard dash at the Combine, choosing to run it in front of teams on his own turf. If he posts strong numbers, it’ll solidify his standing as a high-end pick.

Also watch for: G Donovan Jackson, T Josh Simmons, RB TreVeyon Henderson, Edge Jack Sawyer, DT Tyleik Williams, Edge JT Tuimoloau, RB Quinshon Judkins, S Lathan Ransom, DT Ty Hamilton, LB Cody Simon, CB Denzel Burke, CB Jordan Hancock, C Seth McLaughlin, and QB Will Howard.

1. Penn State – Friday, March 28
The biggest question mark—and maybe the biggest upside—belongs to Abdul Carter. A stress fracture kept the edge rusher from testing at the Combine, but he’s set to go full throttle at Penn State’s Pro Day. Carter told SiriusXM that he plans to “blow the roof off” his workout and aims to run in the 4.3 range—at nearly 250 pounds. If he delivers on that promise, it could be hard for the Titans to pass him up at No. 1 overall.

Also keep tabs on TE Tyler Warren, S Kevin Winston Jr., LB Kobe King, and S Jaylen Reed.
