The NFL Draft is always full of surprises, and this year’s buzz is centered around Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Some experts think he might slip past both the Browns at No. 2 and the Giants at No. 3, which raises a big question—where would he land?
Many believe he won’t make it past the New Orleans Saints at No. 9, especially with new head coach Kellen Moore needing a future QB. ESPN’s Draft Predictor even gives it about a 25% chance that Sanders will still be there when the Saints pick.
So, here’s the real debate for Giants fans: If New York takes a defensive star like Abdul Carter or Travis Hunter at No. 3, and Sanders is still available after the Raiders at No. 6 and Jets at No. 7, should they make a move? Specifically, should they trade up from No. 34 to No. 8 with the Carolina Panthers to jump ahead of the Saints and grab Sanders?
It wouldn’t be cheap. The Giants would likely have to give up picks 34, 65, 105, and a 2026 first-rounder to make it happen.
