Sixteen NFL Hopefuls Set to Showcase Skills at Lions’ 2025 Pro Day

The Detroit Lions are inching closer to the 2025 NFL Draft, and part of their final prep includes a closer look at some potential hidden gems. That’s where the team’s Pro Day comes in — a chance for under-the-radar players, small-school standouts, and local names to get some attention in front of Lions scouts and coaches.

This year’s invite list? A solid mix of Michigan favorites and guys trying to make a name for themselves. Sixteen players are confirmed so far, including a handful from Michigan and Michigan State, plus others from programs like Eastern Michigan, Bowling Green, and even Wayne State.

Here’s the lineup:

Josaiah Stewart (OLB, Michigan)

Josh Priebe (OL, Michigan)

William Wagner (LS, Michigan)

Maverick Hansen (DT, Michigan State)

Luke Newman (OL, Michigan State)

Blake Daniels (TE, Eastern Michigan)

Peyton Price (DT, Eastern Michigan)

Muftah Ageli (DT, Northwestern Oklahoma State – by way of Windsor)

Griffin Milovanski (K, Wayne State)

Peny Boone (RB, Central Florida)

Christion Carter (TE, Northern Illinois)

Maliq Carr (TE, Houston)

Spencer Brown (OL, Oklahoma)

Ali Saad (DL, Bowling Green)

Dorian Mausi (LB, Auburn)

Daraun McKinney (DB, Central Michigan)

Brad Holmes and Dan Campbell have built a deep, gritty roster by finding value where others don’t look. So don’t be shocked if one of these guys ends up in camp or even gets their name called on draft day. The Lions love giving longshots a real shot — and more than a few have made the most of it.
