Star Player Bids Farewell to Cowboys, Takes Shots at Front Office (Report)

Jourdan Lewis, a former Dallas Cowboys cornerback, has officially walked away from the team and shared his frustrations on social media. On March 14, 2025, he posted about his issues with the Cowboys’ front office, starting by calling out the defensive scheme, specifically how they only played “match and man” despite his high slot coverage grade. His second post hinted at a decade of frustration, leading him to announce, “I’m done.”

This came shortly after news broke that Lewis had signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Over the years, he’s been a solid player for the Cowboys, but it seems like his time in Dallas ended on a sour note. The posts appear to be aimed at the team and coaching staff, especially defensive coordinators he’s worked with.
