Steelers Zeroing in on Defensive Line and Wide Receiver in 2025 NFL Draft
The Pittsburgh Steelers are staying true to their draft strategy, heavily scouting defensive linemen while also shifting focus to wide receivers. Head coach Mike Tomlin and defensive coordinator Teryl Austin closely observed the defensive line during practice, signaling strong interest in the deep talent pool at that position.
However, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith and GM Omar Khan also kept a keen eye on wide receivers, with Tomlin bouncing between both groups. With clear needs on both sides of the ball, expect Pittsburgh to target these two positions early in the draft.
