Talk Is Cheap”: Browns Rookie Mason Graham Fires Back at Lions Coach John Morton

The upcoming showdown between the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns just got a little spicier. Browns rookie defensive tackle Mason Graham didn’t hold back when asked about comments made by Lions offensive coordinator John Morton earlier this week.

Morton, who praised his team’s physical dominance after a statement win over the Ravens, made a subtle jab suggesting that “the real test will be whether we can bully another top defense the same way.” Those words didn’t sit well with Graham.

“Talk is cheap,” the rookie said confidently when reporters asked about Morton’s remarks. “We’ll see who’s doing the bullying on Sunday.”

Graham, who’s quickly becoming one of Cleveland’s most promising young defenders, has been a force in the trenches—earning praise for his power and football IQ. His response adds even more fuel to what’s shaping up to be a battle of strength and pride between two of the NFL’s most physical teams.

As kickoff approaches, fans are eagerly waiting to see if the rookie can back up his words—or if Morton’s high-powered Lions offense will prove him wrong.
