Texans Add Firepower at WR in Community Mock Draft

The Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft is heating up, and with pick No. 25, the Houston Texans went for a big-time weapon. Acting as GM, community member “the_ville_lions” selected Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden to help bolster C.J. Stroud’s arsenal.

Burden brings inside-outside versatility and blazing 4.41 speed, making him a dynamic fit opposite Nico Collins. With Stefon Diggs gone and the Texans’ receiver room constantly battling injuries, Burden gives them a much-needed playmaker who can step into either the Y or Z role right away. The Texans were hoping one of the top offensive linemen would fall, but with value aligning better at wide receiver, Burden became the clear choice.

If he returns to his sophomore form, this could be one of the steals of the draft.
