The New York Giants have been busy stacking up quarterbacks this offseason, signing Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston, and keeping Tommy DeVito around. But even with those three in the mix, the team is still debating whether to draft Shedeur Sanders with the No. 3 overall pick.

According to NFL insider Jordan Raanan, the Giants’ front office is split. Some people in the organization are high on Sanders, believing he could be the team’s long-term solution. Others aren’t as convinced, which makes using such a high draft pick on him a big question mark.

The team’s situation is complicated—owner John Mara expects head coach Brian Daboll and GM Joe Schoen to both build for the future and compete immediately. If the Giants don’t start winning, both could be on the hot seat.

While it’s clear the Giants will draft a quarterback, it may not be Sanders. Some analysts believe the gap between him and second-tier prospects like Jaxson Dart, Jalen Milroe, or Quinn Ewers isn’t that big. If that’s the case, the Giants could pass on Sanders and take a top defensive prospect like Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter instead.

For now, the debate continues, and all eyes will be on what the Giants do with that No. 3 pick.
