Three OL Prospects Who Could Take the Lions’ Offense to the Next Level

3 Offensive Linemen Who Could Make the Lions Even Stronger in 2025
The Detroit Lions have built their success in the trenches, but with an aging offensive line, GM Brad Holmes is expected to make it a priority this offseason. The 2025 NFL Draft presents a great opportunity to add talent, and three linemen stand out as strong fits for Detroit.

1. Grey Zabel (North Dakota State)
Versatile lineman with experience at tackle but projects as a guard/center in the NFL.
Has ties to the Lions’ new TE coach Tyler Roehl, who coached him at NDSU.
High football IQ and small-school standout potential.
2. Tyler Booker (Alabama)
Dominant run blocker with powerful hands and agile footwork.
Brings an aggressive, physical playstyle that fits the Lions’ identity.
Could be the latest in a strong Alabama-to-Detroit pipeline.
3. Jonah Savaiinaea (Arizona)
Massive (6’5”, 330 lbs) interior lineman with excellent length and strength.
Modeled his game after Lions star Penei Sewell.
Strong in pass protection but needs to refine technique and hand placement.
With Graham Glasgow and Taylor Decker getting older, the Lions will need reinforcements soon. Which of these linemen would you like to see in Detroit? Let’s hear your thoughts!
