Tide Rolling on the Trail: Alabama Lands Another 2026 WR with Brian Williams

Alabama’s recruiting momentum is heating up. Just a day after securing Owen Cabell as their first wide receiver for the 2026 class, the Crimson Tide landed another commitment — this time from Brian Williams, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound standout from The First Academy in Orlando, Florida.

Rated as a 3-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite, Williams ranks No. 118 among wide receivers nationally and No. 104 in Florida. His impressive offer sheet included 33 programs such as Florida State, Georgia, Auburn, Notre Dame, Michigan, and Arkansas. After visits to Alabama, Penn State, and Florida, Williams chose Kalen DeBoer’s Crimson Tide.

Williams’ addition brings Alabama’s 2026 recruiting class to 16 verbal commitments, boosting the Tide to No. 7 in the national class rankings. His highlight reel from his junior season shows a tall, physical target who can stretch the field — a skill set that should fit perfectly in Alabama’s offense.

The Tide’s recent success on the recruiting trail underscores their commitment to reloading at wide receiver. With back-to-back commitments, Alabama is making it clear they plan to stay at the top of college football’s pecking order.
