Speaking to the Class of 2025, Trump received a roaring welcome as students chanted “USA!” while he kicked things off with a quick joke and a shoutout to Alabama football’s glory. He gave props to Tuscaloosa as “Titletown” and said he was thrilled to be back.
But the real entertainment came courtesy of legendary Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban, who shared a hilarious “red button” story from the White House. Apparently, a player once hesitated to press a mysterious red button — until Trump egged him on. The result? A woman walked in with a Coke. Classic.
The biggest moment of the night, though? Trump taking a firm stance on transgender athletes. “As long as I’m president, we’ll always protect women’s sports,” he said, getting one of the loudest cheers of the evening. “Men will not play in women’s sports. No way.”
Safe to say, Bama grads won’t forget this ceremony anytime soon.
