President Trump’s press secretary is calling him the most transparent president in history—and she’s backing it up with numbers. According to a new report, Trump has answered nearly 100 press questions during just three Cabinet meetings this year. That’s almost 20 times more than President Biden did over four years.
Karoline Leavitt pointed to this as proof that the press has consistent access to Trump. “Everybody in this room has access to the most transparent and accessible president in American history,” she told reporters. For comparison, Biden reportedly took only five questions in nine Cabinet meetings, many of which lasted just five minutes.
