Alabama Legends Snubbed from College Football Hall of Fame
In a surprise move, two Alabama football greats – Mark Ingram and Chris Samuels – were left out of the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class. This decision has raised some eyebrows, especially since their former coach, Nick Saban, made the cut.
Ingram, the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner, and Samuels, the 1999 Outland Trophy recipient, were both on the initial ballot, but didn’t make the final cut. Ingram had an incredible college career, leading the SEC in rushing and total touchdowns in 2009. Samuels, on the other hand, was a dominant force on the field, winning the Outland Trophy and leading the Tide to a conference title.
The 2025 College Football Hall of Fame class includes some big names, like Montee Ball, Gregg Carr, and Urban Meyer. But the snub of Ingram and Samuels has left many Alabama fans wondering what could have been.
What do you think? Did Ingram and Samuels deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame?
