Cooper Rush is officially leaving the Dallas Cowboys after 8 years. The veteran QB has signed a two-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens to back up Lamar Jackson. The contract could be worth up to $12.2 million, with $4.2 million guaranteed. His departure means he’s also saying goodbye to his Cowboys teammates, including his wife Lauryn’s close friends in Dallas.
Morgan Martin, wife of Cowboys guard Zack Martin, sent a heartfelt message congratulating the Rush family. She shared a six-word post, “Let’s gooooo!!! The most deserving family!” Morgan seemed super happy for them, though it’s tough for her too since she and Lauryn have built a strong bond over the years. Cooper might not have been a star in Dallas, but he’s certainly been a valuable player for the team.
