Rock Ya-Sin, a former Raiders starting cornerback, has reunited with Amik Robertson on the Detroit Lions. Ya-Sin, 28, played for the Raiders in 2022, starting nine games and totaling 45 tackles and seven passes defended.
Ya-Sin’s NFL career began when he was drafted by the Indianapolis Colts in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He played for the Colts from 2019 to 2021 before being traded to the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022.
In his six-year NFL career, Ya-Sin has recorded 138 tackles, 20 pass deflections, two interceptions, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.
Ya-Sin’s reunion with Amik Robertson on the Lions is expected to bolster the team’s secondary. Robertson, a former Raiders cornerback, has played both in the slot and on the outside, showcasing his versatility and toughness.
