Detroit Lions Dominate Jersey Sales with Five Players in NFLPA Top 50

The Detroit Lions’ rising popularity isn’t just showing up on the field or TV ratings—it’s now clearly visible in fans’ wardrobes too.

Fresh off being the most-watched NFL team during the 2024 regular season, the Lions have once again made headlines—this time for merchandise sales. On June 11, the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) released its list of the top 50 player jersey sales from March 1, 2024, through February 28, 2025. And Detroit made a serious statement: five Lions players landed on the list.

Leading the charge is star defensive end Aidan Hutchinson, who cracked the top 10 at No. 7. Right behind him is fan-favorite wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who claimed the No. 8 spot. Next on the list is rising star Jahmyr Gibbs, the Lions’ electric running back, coming in at No. 20. Quarterback Jared Goff, who finished fifth in MVP voting this past season, ranked 22nd. And rounding out the group is tight end Sam LaPorta, landing at No. 47.

This surge in jersey sales reflects the star power and momentum the Lions have built in recent seasons. Hutchinson, a defensive force, is now considered a frontrunner for the 2025 Defensive Player of the Year award. Gibbs, with his explosive play style, is getting early buzz for Offensive Player of the Year. Meanwhile, St. Brown continues to impress, earning his third consecutive Pro Bowl selection after surpassing 100 catches and 1,100 yards for the third year in a row. And LaPorta? He’s already being mentioned among the top tight ends in the league—an impressive feat for someone only two seasons into his career.

The Lions’ offense was nothing short of electric in 2024, delivering one of the most exciting and high-powered performances in NFL history. It’s clear that fans across the country took notice—not just with their eyes, but with their wallets.

What’s happening in Detroit is more than just a streak of good seasons. With a charismatic roster, a fun-to-watch playing style, and a fan base growing by the day, the Lions are transforming into one of the NFL’s must-watch teams—and now, the jersey sales prove it.

As general manager Brad Holmes continues to shape this team, the Lions are proving that their roar is being heard far and wide.
