Julian Reese signs Exhibit-10 deal, aiming to carve his own path while sister shines in the W
If you thought the Reese family was done dominating basketball headlines, think again.
While Angel Reese has been lighting up the WNBA with her rebounding swagger and unapologetic confidence for the Chicago Sky, her younger brother Julian is quietly beginning his own pro journey — and now he’s doing it under the bright lights of L.A.
Just one day after the 2025 NBA Draft wrapped up, the Los Angeles Lakers signed Julian Reese to an Exhibit-10 contract, giving the 6’10” Maryland big man a shot to prove himself on the biggest stage.
And of course, Angel wasn’t going to let the moment pass without some love.
“OPPORTUNITY. COME ON JU.”
— Angel Reese, on X (formerly Twitter)
It’s simple, heartfelt, and classic Angel — always hyping her people, always staying locked in on the grind.
What’s an Exhibit-10 Deal Anyway?
For the casual fans out there: an Exhibit-10 contract isn’t a guaranteed ticket to NBA stardom — but it’s a foot in the door. It gives teams a chance to invite a player to training camp or the G-League, and if things go well, they could convert the deal into a two-way contract or even a full roster spot.
For Julian, this means Summer League, development, and the chance to earn his way up.
A Family Built on Buckets
Angel’s own journey from LSU stardom to WNBA breakout has been anything but quiet. She’s been a headline magnet and social media icon, and now she gets to watch her brother take his first steps into the professional game — under the Hollywood spotlight, no less.
Whether Julian ends up contributing in purple and gold this year or gets his reps in the G-League, one thing’s for sure: the Reese family is officially pro on both sides of the court.
And who knows? Maybe one day soon, we’ll be talking about two Reese siblings taking over All-Star Weekend.
