While Angel Reese has been lighting up the WNBA with her rebounding swagger and unapologetic confidence for the Chicago Sky, her younger brother Julian is quietly beginning his own pro journey — and now he’s doing it under the bright lights of L.A.
Just one day after the 2025 NBA Draft wrapped up, the Los Angeles Lakers signed Julian Reese to an Exhibit-10 contract, giving the 6’10” Maryland big man a shot to prove himself on the biggest stage.
And of course, Angel wasn’t going to let the moment pass without some love.

It gives teams a chance to invite a player to training camp or the G-League, and if things go well, they could convert the deal into a two-way contract or even a full roster spot.
For Julian, this means Summer League, development, and the chance to earn his way up.
